A Golden Ride is a family-owned company based in Charleston,SC. We are a transportation service dedicated to seniors, veterans and adults with disabilities. We call our “drivers” Ambassadors since they do so much more than just drive. Our Ambassadors will help you door-through door, stay with you during your appointment, physical therapy, grocery shopping, visiting family or friends or other errands. When you are ready to go home, our Ambassadors assist you every step of the way.
How are we different? We provide rides for seniors with care and compassion. We never leave you. We stay with you and get you back home safe and sound.
We provide transportation for seniors, door-through-door, accompaniment, airport transport, and courier services to people who do not have access to driving. Our services are offered on a reservation basis.
A Golden Ride prides itself on offering a personalized, safe, and reliable service. Our Ambassadors are CPR/First Aid trained, DMV cleared, and background checked.

Our Services
door-through-door transportation
Our door-through-door service provides for assistance in and out of the vehicle, we stow away any walkers or wheelchairs. Do you need arm through arm? No problem! We assist you to medical appointments, grocery shopping, prescription pickup, errands, or to visit family and friends. We then get you back home safe and sound.
courier Services
We can pickup prescriptions, drop off or pickup medical equipment or perform other errands you would prefer not to perform. We are here to make life easier for you.
accompaniment Services
At no extra charge, we stay with you at your appointments or errands. We don't want you to have to go alone. There are times you want someone else to be with you. It is our pleasure!
AIRPORT TRANSPORT
We will get you to or from the airport in a timely matter. Let us take you there.
SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE
We offer transportation to your recurring activities such as church service, grocery, social group or a recurring event. These can take place weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, etc. Just let us know and you will be our #1 priority.
design a day
We offer private outings to enjoy the town at a local museum, historic plantation or another destination of your choice. One additional riders/caretaker is included.
